Product purchase, service, and return policy

Warranty Coverage

All mechanical products are covered from manufacturer defect for a period of 1 year from date of purchase, provided that the product was used as directed, had proper maintenance if required, or not physically damaged or vandalized, unless otherwise stated in the product tech specs and warranty information. Any damaged or misused products will void the warranty. Blue Water Aquatics will repair or replace the defective product. The customer will be responsible for any return shipping charges. Return Policy

Products may be returned within 30 days of purchase. If the purchase date exceeds 30 days, returns will not be accepted. All items must be unused, clean, in the original packaging with instructions and all components, and in the same condition that you received it. Mechanical products must be unaltered, in perfect working order, and may incur a re-stocking fee. Any Lake or Pond chemicals, probiotics, or decorative fountains will not be accepted to return. For products to be eligible for return, we require proof of purchase, or an original receipt. All items purchased from Blue Water Aquatics must be returns to Blue Water Aquatics only, not the manufacturer.

Refund Policy

Product refunds are completed when we receive the returned product. Once we receive the product, we will inspect the product to ensure it has not be opened, used or damaged. We will notify you if the product is approved or denied for eligible refund. For approved refunds, we will process the refund and automatically apply it to your credit card or original payment method. Check or cash will be sent in the mail for you to receive in 3-5 business days. Credit card refunds will be issued same-day, and may take a couple days to be applied to your account. 

Credit Card Transactions

Blue Water Aquatics can accept credit card transactions online. Any credit card transaction is subject to a non-refundable 4% service charge. If you wish to pay by Credit/Debit Card, please upload your preferred payment method in the wallet tab located in the client hub. By uploading your card, you AUTHORIZE Blue Water Aquatics to automatically process that card to the corresponding invoice that was issued to you. Charges will only be made on funds approved by the customer for that transaction only. At any time, you may remove your Credit/Debit Card from client hub to avoid being charged automatically.

Sale / Discounted Items

Blue Water Aquatics does not accept refunds on discounted or sale priced items. All items purchased with a discount or sale price applied will be noted in the quote and invoice, or receipt. Regular priced items will still be eligible for a refund for that amount.

Product Exchange

Items that are defective or damaged can be replaced if it is determined that the damage did not occur after the sale of that item. Blue Water Aquatics is not responsible for products after the sale. 

Shipping

Should you have to return a product, please mail it to Blue Water Aquatics. Please visit the Customer Service Center for more information on shipping address. The customer is solely responsible for shipping rates and costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund for the product, shipping costs will be removed from your refund. Shipping times may vary. A customer should consider a tracking service or shipping insurance for items over $100. Blue Water Aquatics can not guarantee the success of shipments and is not liable for the product while in transit. Shipping rates may vary depending on the size and quantity of an item, shipping carrier, time of the year, or other handling fees may apply.

Service Calls

If a service call is requested, a service call fee will be applied and invoiced to a customer requesting service. Fees may incur windshield time, hourly labor rates, flat destination fee plus labor, or an urgent service fee. Service calls are only available Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00pm.

Invoice Late Fees

All contracts, invoices, and quotes specify late fees. All invoices have a due date 30 days from the issued date. All invoices are to be paid within 30 days of being issued and must be paid-in-full. All outstanding balances will receive a 2% monthly late fee after the due date. Blue Water Aquatics has a automated system that can remind you of invoice status and due date. All invoices are expected to be paid in full and on time. Failure to pay invoices on time may reserve Blue Water Aquatics the right to suspend services at any time until all funds are paid and account balances are accurate.

Blue Water Aquatics reserves the right to correct any technical errors or mistakes on that may occur on this website. If you have any questions, please contact us in our Customer Service Center.
