
Fountain Maintenance Programs
Blue Water Aquatics ensures your equipment is properly protected from harsh winter conditions by storing it in our heated, secure warehouse during the off-season. Our comprehensive maintenance program is designed to keep your system operating efficiently while extending the life of your equipment.
Our program includes:

Spring installation and system start-up

Monthly performance inspections

Fall removal and on-site equipment inspection

Cleaning and final inspection prior to storage

Secure winter storage in our heated facility
Your equipment is typically installed beginning in late March, with removal starting in October and all units removed by the end of November. Installation and removal timelines may be adjusted depending on weather and seasonal conditions. Customers will be notified prior to all installation and removal scheduling.


Aeration Maintenance Programs
This Blue Water Aquatics maintenance program will help ensure that your aerator is in good working order all season. The program includes the following:

Spring installation and start up of equipment (if required)

Cabinet cleanout and inspection

New air filters installed

Monthly performance check
-
Winter shut down (if required)
Aerators are generally shut down and winterized starting in late October with all units shut down by the end of November. Aerators are generally started up for operation in March. While winterization is recommended for community safety in the winter, it is not required. Timelines may be adjusted pending weather and seasonal conditions. Customers will be notified of aeration start up and winterization.

Our Service Department
The Blue Water Aquatics service department has office staff available via phone, email, or you can submit a customer inquiry in the Inquiry Center to answer any questions you may have. Learn more about the treatment process in our Learning Portal.
Licensed Applicators
All of our technicians are fully certified professionals and in full compliance with the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality now known as EGLE, with all licensing requirements. All treatment applications are done by Blue Water Aquatics technicians only.
EGLE Permits
Does your waterbody require a permit for treatment? Blue Water Aquatics can help! Our staff will assist you with the permit process as we take care of that for you. Customers will be notified of any information we may need in order to correctly obtain a permit from EGLE.
