Geese Deterrent
Away With Geese features an amber 360° solar-powered light that flashes every two seconds, all night, year-round. The light is scarcely noticeable to humans but is very disruptive to the sleep of the geese, causing them to no longer feel secure. After just a few anxious nights, they find another habitat. There is an Away With Geese unit for every type of landscape.

Geese Deterrent: Protect Your Pond and Shoreline
Geese may look peaceful, but when they gather in large numbers, they can create a host of problems for ponds, lakes, and landscaped areas. Excessive geese activity can lead to damaged turf, contaminated water from droppings, and even erosion along shorelines.
Why Geese Control Matters
Unchecked geese populations can:
-
Leave unsightly droppings on lawns, sidewalks, and beaches
-
Damage vegetation along pond edges and landscaping
-
Introduce bacteria and nutrients that contribute to algae and weed growth

Our Approach: Away With Geese® Products
Blue Water Aquatics offers a professional geese deterrent program using Away With Geese®, a proven, safe, and humane solution.
-
Non-Toxic and Environmentally Friendly – Our treatments do not harm geese, pets, or wildlife.
-
Behavioral Deterrent – The products make treated areas less appealing to geese, encouraging them to move to other locations.
-
Targeted Application – We strategically apply the product to lawns, shorelines, and pond areas where geese congregate, reducing their presence over time.

Long-Term Benefits
With consistent treatment and monitoring, geese are discouraged from returning, helping to maintain:
-
Cleaner, safer recreational areas
-
Healthier lawns and landscaping
-
Reduced nutrient loading in ponds, which supports better water quality and fewer algae blooms

By using science-backed methods and proven products, we help protect your pond, shoreline, and surrounding landscape from the impacts of nuisance geese—keeping your property beautiful and usable year-round.
