Job Summary
As an Aquatic Applicator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the health of lakes and ponds. You’ll perform chemical and biological treatments, manage vegetation, and apply best practices to ensure safe and effective results. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to safety.

​

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply aquatic herbicides, algaecides, and other approved treatments according to label instructions and regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct field assessments of lakes, ponds, and waterways to identify vegetation and water quality conditions.

  • Maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles in a clean, safe, and functional condition.

  • Document treatments and communicate results to crew leaders, supervisors and clients.

  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and environmental regulations.

  • Assist with permitting and compliance documentation as needed.

  • Pass two required MDARD exams, or hold a valid applicators license.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Experience with chemical application, landscaping, or environmental work preferred but not required—training provided.

  • Strong attention to detail, safety-minded, and reliable.

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Comfortable operating boats, trucks, and field equipment if needed.

  • Pass two required MDARD exams, or hold a valid applicators license.
